TimBuckDo Secures Bridge Round Capital Ahead Of Series A Funding

Bengaluru, September 23, 2026: TimBuckDo, an on-demand convenience platform building an organized workforce of educated college students, has raised a bridge round of funding as it prepares for an upcoming $5 million Series A raise, TimBuckDo said in a press release.

The investment was backed by Srinath Setty, Co-Founder & CEO of Hosachiguru, investing through his family office, Trasa Ventures, and Adarsh Narahari, Founder & Managing Director of Primus Senior Living. While the company did not disclose the financial details or valuation of the bridge round, the fresh capital will support its next phase of expansion.
TimBuckDo operates a marketplace that connects verified college students, referred to as “Doers,” with individuals and businesses for on-demand tasks. Its growing portfolio of services includes elder companionship, pet care, child support, and assistance for home businesses.
The strategic background of both investors aligns with the startup’s target expansion sectors. Srinath Setty brings experience in scaling large-format real estate and managed farmland businesses. Meanwhile, Adarsh Narahari brings over a decade of domain expertise in senior care, directly connecting with TimBuckDo’s Companion Doer segment, which assists elderly customers with hospital visits, daily errands, and companionship.

Commenting on the investment, Srinath Setty, Co-Founder & CEO of Hosachiguru, said, “I’ve always been drawn to businesses that take something traditional and rebuild it with technology and scale. That’s exactly what Mythri and Apoorv are doing with TimBuckDo, and why I wanted to back them. The opportunity to organise and scale a trusted student workforce around everyday needs is compelling, and I look forward to supporting the team as they build the next phase of the business.”
Adarsh Narahari, Founder & Managing Director, Primus Senior Living, said, “Primus was born from watching my grandmother want independence with dignity. TimBuckDo’s Companion Doer model extends that same idea beyond our communities into the homes of elders who are ageing on their own terms. It is a natural extension of the work we’ve spent over a decade on, and I’m glad to back the team as they build this category.”
Co-Founders Mythri Kumar and Apoorv Sharma Prasad said, “Having Srinath and Adarsh back this round means a lot to us. They are two entrepreneurs we deeply admire, each having built category-defining businesses in their respective sectors. This bridge round gives us the runway and strategic backing to prepare for our next phase of growth, as we work towards our Series A and continue building the infrastructure for India’s Pink Collar Economy.”
TimBuckDo will deploy the bridge capital to upgrade its technology platform, expand its student workforce, and deepen market penetration across core verticals. Previous investors in the platform include Rukam Capital, Turbostart, and Arjun Vaidya, alongside corporate partnerships with organizations like Decathlon, Aditya Birla, and ONDC.
