RITES and NHIDCL Collaborate to Boost Highway and Infrastructure Projects
Gurugram, September 24, 2026: RITES Limited, a multidisciplinary engineering and consultancy organization, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) to provide specialized consultancy and technical support services. The agreement focuses on the planning, development, construction, and maintenance of highway and infrastructure projects across the North-East and other strategic regions, RITES said in a press release.
Under the framework of the agreement, RITES will supply a comprehensive spectrum of consultancy services. These include the preparation of Detailed Project Reports for highways and tunnels, external technical audits, third-party quality assurance, and structural health assessments of bridges and flyovers. Additionally, the firm will provide technical support unit services, road safety audits, crash investigation and mitigation planning, slope stability studies, design services, and Authority Engineering services for highway, tunnel, and slope stability projects.
The collaboration establishes a formal framework aimed at enhancing project planning, engineering standards, construction quality, and safety parameters across the infrastructure portfolio of the National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited. By pairing technical expertise in transport infrastructure consultancy with experience in developing national highways and strategic infrastructure, the partnership intends to facilitate the timely and efficient delivery of critical projects designed to drive regional connectivity and growth.
