Arnya RealEstates Fund Advisors Appoints Vishal Gupta as Chief Investment Officer
Mumbai, September 28, 2026: Arnya RealEstates Fund Advisors has announced the appointment of Vishal Gupta, Chief Investment Officer, to lead the firm’s commercial real estate investment platform. He will spearhead the commercial real estate strategy, marking the firm’s expansion into the asset class to complement its existing residential strategies across debt, preferred capital, and equity, Arnya RealEstates Fund Advisors said in a press release.
Vishal Gupta, Chief Investment Officer, joins as one of three Chief Investment Officers at the firm, with each responsible for a distinct investment strategy or asset class. The leadership structure reflects the company’s objective to build a multi-product real estate asset management platform. He joins from ICICI Prudential AMC, having spent 13 years of his 20-year career with the ICICI Group. A Chartered Accountant, he brings two decades of experience in real estate private equity and asset management, having previously led commercial real estate transactions aggregating more than Rs 5,000 crore.
India’s commercial real estate market has seen increased institutional participation, supported by occupier demand, expanding Global Capability Centres, and growing interest in Grade A office assets. Grade A office leasing across the top seven cities reached 71.5 million square feet in 2025, up 6% year-on-year, while leasing stood at 35.7 million square feet in the first half of 2026. Global Capability Centres accounted for 16.6 million square feet, or 46% of Grade A office uptake, during the first half of 2026.
