Bengaluru, October 7, 2026: Hical Technologies, a precision electromechanical manufacturer for global aerospace and defence platforms, has launched a new manufacturing facility in Devanahalli, Bengaluru, according to a press release issued by the company.

The 60,000-square-foot facility is designed to support partnerships and dedicated production lines for complex electromagnetics, electromechanical, hydraulic, and control systems used in commercial aircraft and Rafale programmes. The site will also feature an experience center highlighting the company’s broader manufacturing capabilities. The expansion forms part of the firm’s overall strategy to increase scale, technical depth, and capacity for increasingly sophisticated international defence and aerospace ventures.

Yashas Jaiveer, Managing Director of Hical Technologies, emphasized the operational significance of the expansion. “The launch of our Devanahalli facility strengthens the manufacturing depth needed to support complex aerospace and defence programmes from India,” Jaiveer said. “It will help us serve global customers with greater scale while maintaining the precision, reliability and process discipline these programmes demand.”

The Devanahalli plant complements an upcoming 160,000-square-foot aerospace-qualified facility in Hosur, where groundbreaking took place in July 2026. The Hosur site, currently under development for precision machining, fabrication, and special processes, remains on track for NADCAP qualification.

Together, both facilities are expected to expand Hical Technologies’ programme-linked manufacturing capabilities, with an emphasis on quality, process discipline, and supply chain traceability, positioning the firm for a larger role within India’s growing aerospace and defence manufacturing sector.
