CII Appoints Ashwinder R. Singh as Task Force Chairman
New Delhi, October 29, 2026: The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) has appointed Ashwinder R. Singh as Chairman of its Task Force on Affordable Housing, according to a press release.
The appointment comes at a time when improving housing affordability, expanding homeownership, and strengthening India’s urban housing ecosystem remain important national priorities.
Singh, who also serves as Chairman of the CII Real Estate Committee for the Northern Region, brings over three decades of experience spanning real estate development, institutional finance, entrepreneurship, and industry advisory.
Currently serving as Vice Chairman and CEO of BCD Group, Singh has previously held leadership roles as CEO of JLL Residential and Bhartiya Urban, as well as Co-founder and CEO of ANAROCK. Earlier in his career, he held senior positions with financial institutions including Citibank, ICICI Bank, Deutsche Bank, Fullerton, and Bajaj Housing Finance.
Through the Task Force, CII aims to engage with industry and policy stakeholders on practical measures to improve housing affordability, strengthen developer participation, and support sustainable residential development.
In addition to his corporate roles, Singh is an Indian real estate industry leader and entrepreneur who has delivered over 200 keynote addresses and authored three books on residential and commercial real estate, including Master Residential Real Estate and Master Commercial Real Estate.
