YEIDA offers 280 affordable flats on Yamuna e-way

YEIDA launched five housing schemes in its area on Wednesday. On offer are flats in the residential category and plots in industrial, institutional and commercial categories.
According to a published media report, the authority has put on offer 280 residential flats. The 200 smaller units will cost Rs 11 lakh each while the 80 bigger ones will be Rs 19 lakh each.
The report said these units will be allotted through draw of lots. According to officials, the aim is to develop the YEIDA area. “These flats have been leftover from previous schemes,” said, YEIDA official. “They will be allotted on a lottery basis and are located in sector 22D,” he added.
YEIDA will also auction commercial plots in its area. These plots have been reserved at a price of Rs 34,080 per square metre for commercial use for investors and entrepreneurs. The successful technical bids will be finalised on June 30. According to officials, the scheme titled ‘Footprints for Commercial Use’ comes with controlled design features.
106 institutional plots are also available to investors, said, officials. The allotment price for these plots has been fixed at Rs 7,560 per square metre. These plots are located in sectors 18, 20 and 22. Allotments will be on first-come-first-serve-basis and interviews.
These plots will be allotted at a price of Rs 6,405 per square metres and are located in sectors 29 and 32. The scheme will close on June 30, officials said.
