HV Patodia is new President of Credai

The Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Associations of India (Credai) on March 30 announced Harsh Vardhan Patodia, MD, Unimark Group, Kolkata, as the new National President of the apex body for the term 2021-23.
At the installation ceremony, the new office-bearers and chairmen of various committees were also announced.
The new Credai National team comprises Satish Magar, Chairman; Harsh Vardhan Patodia, President; Boman Irani, President-Elect; Pankaj Goel, Secretary and Deepak Goradia, Treasurer.
In his maiden address, Patodia announced free COVID-19 vaccination drive for 2.5 crore construction workers at the sites of member developers across the country.
He also announced the setting up of a ‘Credai Startup Angel Network and Incubation & Acceleration Centre’, with the aim of helping and supporting tech startups in the real estate space. Besides, Patodia announced the setting up of Credai’s own R&D centre.
Earlier, handing over the mantle to Patodia, outgoing President Satish Magar said, “Credai will now reach newer heights under the able leadership of Mr Patodia, given his experience and holistic outlook towards the sector.”
