NBCC celebrates its 54th foundation day
NEW DELHI: The National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC) celebrated its 54th foundation day in the Capital last Friday. Union Urban Development and Housing Minister M Venkaiah Naidu was the Chief Guest on the occasion.
Prominent among those who took part in the function included UD Secretary Shankar Aggarwal, AS in the ministry DS Mishra and Anoop Kumar Mittal, CMD of NBCC.
Speaking on the occasion, Naidu appreciated NBCC’s “excellent contribution” in nation’s growth, its achievements and business performance, particularly in recent years. He also applauded NBCC’s high-end participation with the ministries, PSUs and other Central and state Government bodies, in meeting social obligations towards nation’s interest.
Mittal gave a brief account of NBCC’s business success vis-a-vis its committed involvement in all Government initiatives.
The two-hour-long cultural evening had a wonderful rendition of songs by renowned Bollywood singer Shaan and troupe.
