A-One Steels India Sets September 24 for Rs 405 Crore Public Issue

New Delhi, September 17, 2026: A-One Steels India Ltd’s initial public offering (IPO) is scheduled to open for subscription on September 24 and close on September 28, with the company looking to raise up to Rs 405 crore through the issue, it said in a press release.

The IPO comprises a fresh issue of equity shares aggregating up to Rs 355 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of shares worth up to Rs 50 crore by promoter selling shareholders. The company will not receive any proceeds from the OFS. The anchor investor bid/offer period is scheduled to be one working day prior to the bid/offer opening date.

As per the Red Herring Prospectus, the company proposes to utilise Rs 250 crore of the net proceeds from the fresh issue toward pre-payment or partial repayment of certain outstanding borrowings. The balance is proposed to be utilised for general corporate purposes, subject to limits specified in the RHP. The equity shares, with a face value of Rs 10 each, are proposed to be listed on BSE and NSE, with BSE designated as the primary stock exchange. PL Capital Markets Private Ltd and Khambatta Securities Ltd serve as the Book Running Lead Managers, while Bigshare Services Private Ltd acts as the Registrar.

In terms of sustainability metrics, A-One Steels sourced 5,007.53 lakh units of green electricity during Fiscal 2026, representing 83.20 per cent of its total power usage. Out of this, 3,442.15 lakh units came via solar and wind power purchase agreements, while 1,565.38 lakh units were generated through non-captive plants and in-house waste heat recovery systems. The firm reported savings of approximately Rs 1.57 per unit in electricity costs during Fiscal 2026 and holds 10 long-term solar PPAs and six long-term wind PPAs sourcing 230 MW.

As of March 31, 2026, the aggregate installed manufacturing capacity stood at 17,33,100 MTPA across intermediate and downstream segments. Financially, the company reported revenue from operations of Rs 4,148.57 crore in Fiscal 2026, compared with Rs 3,541.78 crore in Fiscal 2025. Profit for the year grew significantly to Rs 127.41 crore in Fiscal 2026, up from Rs 7.71 crore recorded in the preceding fiscal year.
