New Delhi, April  23, 2026: Ammann India has announced the successful completion of the concrete works for the 56 km Nashik–Niphad–Yeola–Vaijapur–Aurangabad Road (MSH-2) upgrade. The brownfield project, developed under EPC-59 for the Public Works Department (PWD), Maharashtra, involved widening the existing two-lane road into a four-lane highway and converting the bituminous pavement into rigid concrete, the company said in a press release.

The project, valued at approximately ₹560 crore, was executed by GHV (India) Pvt. Ltd. in a joint venture with SB Deshmukh and Forcon Infra Pvt. Ltd. The critical concrete production was managed by Nashik-based M/s. Bramghiri Infra LLP, which deployed two high-capacity ELBA CC150 batching plants supplied by Ammann India.

Commissioned on July 3, 2025, these plants served as the exclusive batching solution for the entire 56 km stretch. Each plant delivered a production capacity of 130 m³ per hour, collectively producing approximately 1,65,000 cubic metres of concrete. This output included Dry Lean Concrete (DLC), Pavement Quality Concrete (PQC), and various structural grades ranging from M10 to M30.

The deployment highlighted the efficacy of high-capacity batching technology in complex brownfield environments. In such projects, space constraints and the need for continuous traffic management require consistent and reliable output. The ELBA CC150 plants enabled uninterrupted production cycles and precise material control, which were essential to meeting tight project timelines while maintaining uniform mix quality.

The specialized setup included dedicated storage for various sizes of stone and sand, alongside large silos for cement and Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GGBS). The use of GGBS, approved by the PWD, significantly enhanced the durability and eco-friendliness of the concrete while contributing to pollution control during the production phase.

Commenting on the project’s success, Dheeraj Panda, Managing Director, Ammann India, noted the importance of advanced technology in modern infrastructure:

“The completion of this project reflects India’s decisive shift towards long-lasting concrete road infrastructure. The ability to deliver consistent, high-quality concrete at scale, especially in a brownfield environment has been pivotal. The ELBA CC150 plants have demonstrated how advanced batching solutions can streamline construction processes while ensuring superior pavement performance.”

The upgraded highway is expected to drastically reduce travel time between Nashik, Yeola, and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. Furthermore, it will serve as a vital alternate corridor connecting the Marathwada and Vidarbha regions, boosting logistics efficiency and strengthening regional connectivity across Maharashtra.
