New Delhi, May 6, 2026: Anand Habitat has announced the launch of Capitol City Centre, a new mixed-use development in Sahibabad designed to serve as a connectivity-driven urban destination. The project, which was inaugurated by Daya Shankar Singh, Minister of Transport (Independent Charge) for the Uttar Pradesh government, represents a significant public-private partnership aimed at developing world-class infrastructure and public assets within the National Capital Region (NCR), Anand Habitat said in a press release.

Envisioned as an integrated hub, Capitol City Centre combines commercial, retail, and lifestyle spaces located along a high-growth corridor. The development is situated within a one-kilometer radius of bus transit, metro, and railway stations, a location the company notes has long awaited a comprehensive urban transformation. The project is designed to feature high-street retail shops, luxury studio living, food courts, and banquet halls to meet the accessibility and convenience needs of modern consumers and investors.

The initiative aligns with Anand Habitat’s broader strategy to shape high-impact developments that address the region’s requirement for integrated, future-ready spaces. Under the leadership of Managing Director Nikhil Anand, the company is focusing on micro-markets like Sahibabad that possess untapped potential due to their existing transit infrastructure. The project aims to create a structured urban ecosystem that encourages business activity and community engagement while providing the locality with a centralized modern anchor.

Commenting on the launch, Nikhil Anand, Managing Director, Anand Habitat, said, “It is our clear plan to build city centres in NCR so that requirements of modern consumers are met, and also there are better investment opportunities. NCR has a lot of potential which is yet to be unlocked. Capitol City Centre reflects our vision of building developments that are rooted in connectivity and designed for how people live and work today. It has been a surprise to many that a location that has all the possible connectivity has not been leveraged to date. Sahibabad is emerging as a key micro-market within NCR, and we see strong potential in creating a destination that combines accessibility, quality infrastructure, and a vibrant urban experience.”

The development philosophy behind the project centers on transforming underexplored locations into functional urban clusters. By addressing the growing residential and commercial demand in Sahibabad, Anand Habitat intends for the project to play a pivotal role in the area’s evolution over the coming years. Mr. Vinod Singh Sachdeva, Director, Anand Habitat, added, “With Capitol City Centre, we intend to create that anchor — a space that not only serves current demand but also shapes how this micro-market evolves over the next decade.”
