Art Comes to Life at RUNWAL RAAYA in Worli with Tao Art Gallery Collaboration

Mumbai, July 3, 2025: Runwal Realty, one of India’s most trusted luxury developers, is proud to announce a unique collaboration with Tao Art Gallery—a partnership that celebrates the shared philosophy of legacy, craftsmanship and timeless expression.
Rooted in its brand promise of “Building for Generations to Come”, Runwal Realty has long envisioned spaces that outlive trends—homes designed to become part of a family’s story just as great art becomes part of cultural memory. This collaboration bridges the worlds of architecture and art, bringing together timeless design and timeless creation in a curated experience for discerning patrons.
To be held at Runwal Raaya, Worli, on Friday, the event, titled ‘The Voracious Visual’, will transform the sales gallery of this four-acre landmark development into an art gallery of immersive artistic expression.
Curated by Urvi Kothari from Tao Art Gallery, the showcase will feature evocative works by leading contemporary Indian artists, including Jaideep Mehrotra, Kalpana Shah, Hitesh Gilder, Nahid Merchant, Ram D Kumbhar, Smita Mandlik and Viraj Khanna.
Designed as an experiential evening for art lovers, tastemakers, collectors and the city’s cultural connoisseurs, the event will explore how art and architecture can coexist to elevate urban living. The Voracious Visual extends an invitation to each visitor to enter this space not just as a viewer but as a visual reader. Each work will be thoughtfully placed to complement the spatial design of Runwal Raaya—turning its contemporary aesthetic into a living, breathing canvas that inspires both emotion and dialogue.

“The partnership with Tao Art Gallery is an extension of that vision. We believe that great design and great art share the same purpose: to endure, to inspire and to elevate everyday life,” said Sandeep Runwal, MD, Runwal Realty.
“The partnership marks a step forward in elevating real estate into a canvas for cultural expression, positioning Runwal Raaya not only as a residence but as an evolving work of art.”

Sanjana Shah, Creative Director, Tao Art Gallery, said, “Art can have a very synergistic and inspiring relationship with the space it occupies. The relationship creates a merging visual dialogue. This is exactly what our collaboration with Runwal aspires to do—curating art specifically for spaces that can holistically make it come alive.”
She added, “The art on your walls is more than just a collection. It reflects your persona and is crucial to expressing who you are. The aim with this tie-up is to create more awareness about the value of art in intimate spaces like your home and how real estate and art is very much a marriage made in heaven.”
The evening will conclude with intimate artist interactions and a shared celebration of the powerful synergy between form, function and feeling—a hallmark of Runwal Realty’s commitment to creating spaces that stand the test of time.
