Mumbai, December 28, 2021: Mindspace Business Parks REIT (‘Mindspace REIT’), owner and developer of quality Grade A office portfolio in India, receives ‘7 Sword of Honour’ Awards by British Safety Council, for projects in its portfolio. The Sword of Honour Award is the highest endorsement by the British Safety Council for exemplary management of Occupational Health and Safety at the workplace.
The winning projects include:
- Mindspace Airoli West (Mumbai Region)
- Commerzone Yerwada (Pune)
- Mindspace Madhapur (Hyderabad)
- Mindspace Airoli East (Mumbai Region)
- Mindspace Malad (Mumbai)
The Sword of Honour Award celebrates and rewards those organisations that have reached the pinnacle of Occupational Health and Safety Management. As a first step to win the Sword of Honour Award, an organisation must undertake British Safety Council’s Five Star Occupational Health and Safety Audit. The outcome of the Five Star Audit process is determined through a meticulous quantified system of evaluation. Organisations from across the world, that achieve 92% and above in the audit, are given Five Star’s rating, and invited to apply for the prestigious Sword of Honour.
Mindspace REIT’s several projects were assessed in the Five Star OH&S audit which measured performance against key health and safety management best practice indicators, and a detailed review which focused on organisational leadership, commitment and planning, implementation and operation, performance monitoring & measurement, and evaluation and continual improvement.

Commenting on the achievement, Vinod Rohira, Chief Executive Officer, Mindspace Business Parks REIT said “With the pandemic in the backdrop, health and safety protocols at the workplace are a priority for our entire team at Mindspace Business Parks REIT, our Grade A tenants, and employees working out of our Parks. We stand committed to delivering highest levels of sanitization and safety measures coupled with technological and digital interventions across our office spaces. The 7 Sword of Honour Awards from British Safety Council are an endorsement to all the hard work our teams put in on ground, to deliver a great work experience, enveloped in safety.”

Mike Robinson, Chief Executive of the British Safety Council, added: On behalf of the trustees and staff of the British Safety Council I would like to congratulate Mindspace Business Parks REIT and their staff for their huge commitment in seeking to be the best, recognising their effort expended in keeping their workplaces safe and healthy and minimizing risks to the environment from their organisations’ day-to-day activities. I am delighted by the range of organisations who have won and by the different regions of the world they represent.”
