CCI junks charges against DLF
The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has dismissed charges of anti-competitive practices against realty major DLF in one of its projects in the National Capital Region.
According to the media reports, The CCI order pertains to a residential project called DLF Capital Greens, Phase III, in the NCR region.
The regulator has rejected the allegations after learning that prima-facie there was no violation of competition norms especially since the company is not in a dominant position in the pertinent market.
DLF stock price rose sharply post CCI news. The stock price gained over 4.2 per cent at close on Thursday.
