Credai holds protest closure tomorrow

As a mark of respect and solidarity to deceased fellow developer Suraj Parmar of Cosmos Group, the Confederation of Real Estate Developers Associations of India (Credai) will go on a nationwide protest on Tuesday against the “wrong Government policies and corruption”.
All the member developers of Credai will observe protest with closure of offices, sites offices, registration and construction work throughout the country.
Parmar, who was also the President of Thane chapter of Maharashtra Chamber of Housing Industry (Credai-MCHI), ended his life on October 7, “after giving up his struggle against a corrupt and inefficient bureaucracy”. According to a press release, Parmar was one of the prominent names in the real estate of Thane region and his suicide note is “a painful indictment of our system highlighting incompetence and corruption-full system of Government.”
Deepak Kapoor, President, Credai Western UP, said, “The entire real estate community is in deep grief and utter shock on tragic death of Parmar who earned good repute in realty community. It is terrible to know how a corrupt and incompetent system took life of a proficient person who tried resisting the system till his last breath.”
