CREDAI Western UP donates solar lanterns to Nepal’s earthquake victims
To extend support to the earthquake victims of Nepal, the Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India (Credai), Western UP chapter on Wednesday donated solar lanterns.
AK Goel, Chief Project Engineer of the Noida Authority, flagged off the truck carrying lanterns to Nepal. The lanterns will be delivered to the Indian Embassy in Nepal which will further distribute it amongst the needy.
Deepak Kapoor, President, Credai Western UP, said, “We chose to send solar lantern keeping in mind the loss of infrastructure in Nepal especially electricity, as a quick solution to resolve the problem temporarily till the time the necessary services are restored. The first batch of solar lanterns has been dispatched. This is a small step by Credai Western UP, however we will be ready to provide any help if required in future.”
