Cushman & Wakefield Appoints Ronita Majumdar Basu as Head of People Partnering for India, SEA and MEA
Gurugram, January 29, 2026: Cushman & Wakefield has announced the appointment of Ronita Majumdar Basu as Head of People Partnering for India, South-East Asia, Middle East and Africa. In this role, Ronita will lead the firm’s people strategy across these dynamic markets, aligning talent initiatives with business priorities and long-term growth ambitions.

Commenting on the appointment, Anshul Jain, Chief Executive, India, SEA, MEA and APAC Office and Retail, said: “As we accelerate growth across diverse markets, building leadership capability and an inclusive, high-performance culture is critical. Ronita brings over 19 years of global HR leadership experience, having led people strategy across multi-country operations and large capability centres spanning India, Asia-Pacific, Europe and the Americas. She has been instrumental in shaping and executing scalable, globally aligned people frameworks while balancing local and cultural nuances across diverse markets.
She brings deep experience across talent management, leadership development, employee engagement, rewards and workforce planning, and has supported businesses through phases of growth, transformation and scale-building. This experience has shaped her strong business-oriented and execution-focused approach to people strategy.

Ronita is an alumna of XLRI – Xavier School of Management, Jamshedpur, where she completed her post-graduation in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations. She also holds a B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering from Kolkata.
