DLF Foundation’s Support Helps Gurugram Girls Achieve Highest Grades
Gurugram: It is not just the students who await the results, their parents and teachers also want to know the progress made by their ward/student. In some cases there is an addition to this list, the benefactors who have helped students chase their dream are more than eager to know the impact. DLF Foundation, the philanthropic arm of DLF supports many meritorious and deserving candidates with limited means to pursue their dreams.
There were number of students under the Foundation’s flagship programme- ‘Talent Nurturing’ appeared for Xth & XIIth boards examination (CBSE). Majority of students excelled their exams with flying colours. Anjali Singh, the student of Colonel’s Central Academy, Gurugram emerged as a topper in Science stream with 93.6%. On the other hand, Tanya Kaushik, the student of Lions Public School, Sector 10, Gurugram topped in Humanities with 89.6%.
Anjali Singh, Colonel’s Central Academy, Gurugram appreciated the DLF Foundation’s role in shaping up her approach towards education.
She said, “I was fortunate to have been selected by DLF Foundation. They have played a big role by helping me through proper guidance and career counselling. I am thankful to my parents and school as well for being supportive throughout the journey. I wish to pursue engineering in Computer Science.”
Tanya Kaushik, Lions Public School, Sector 10, Gurugram said, “I never took tuitions while preparing for my boards examination. I would like to thank DLF foundation for their continuous financial support as well as the guidance and counselling provided by them.”
Girls not only made their parents and school proud but also gave DLF Foundation reasons to shine. On the basis of their excellence in education and/or sports and other curricular activities, students get selected under the ‘Talent Nurturing Programme’. DLF Foundation provides financial aid to students and through assistance in coaching, counselling, advisory and soft skill training, foundation help them to realise their potential.
Majority of the students supported by the foundation crossed the 90’s barrier and became eligible for prestigious institutes and universities.
