Gaurs Group Backs India’s Biggest Blood Donation Camp With 3,276 Units Collected in a Single Day
Delhi NCR, August 8, 2026: Demonstrating a continued dedication to community welfare, Gaurs Group supported India’s Biggest Blood Donation Camp, an initiative organized by the Lakshmi Taru Foundation in collaboration with the Shikhar Dhawan Foundation at Rohini, Delhi. Organized to honor the valor and selflessness of the Indian Army following Kargil Diwas, the single-day event successfully gathered 3,276 units of blood, marking it as one of the largest blood donation campaigns recorded in the nation, Gaurs Group said in a press release.
The drive mobilized thousands of donors, volunteers, and partnering organizations, all joining forces to bolster the country’s blood supply. Adding to the event’s outreach, students from Gaurs International School performed a compelling street play, or Nukkad Natak, designed to educate attendees on the vital role of voluntary blood donations and to motivate the public to contribute to the life-saving movement.
