Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini Flags Off Faridabad Half Marathon 2.0 to Promote Fitness and Drug-Free State
Faridabad, September 28, 2026: The District Administration hosted the Faridabad Half Marathon 2.0 at the Surajkund Mela Grounds on Sunday. Chief Minister of Haryana Nayab Singh Saini flagged off the event, which brought together runners from across the region to promote fitness, wellness, and a drug-free state under the campaign message ‘नशामुक्त हरियाणा’. Real estate developer BPTP Limited backed the event as the Titanium Sponsor.
The marathon featured three race categories: a 21.1 km AIMS-certified and RFID chip-timed Half Marathon, a 10K Timed Run, and a 5K Fun Run. The route passed through prominent locations including NHPC Colony, Greenfield, Siddhdata Ashram, Gymkhana Club, Asian Hospital, Sector 20 Market, and Dhouj Chowk. The event featured a total prize pool of Rs 10 lakh to encourage competitive participation across categories.
