Bengaluru, August 7, 2026: Global workplace solutions brand Haworth has announced plans to open a new 8,100-square-foot Experience Centre on St. Mark’s Road in Bengaluru’s Central Business District. Strategically located near commercial and lifestyle hubs like MG Road, Residency Road, Lavelle Road, and UB City, the new facility is designed to place the company at the center of the city’s business, architecture, and design ecosystem. Once operational, the center will serve as a venue for workplace innovation, customer engagement, and collaborative design, Haworth said in a press release.

Haworth Bengaluru 5 1

Since entering the Indian market in 1997, Haworth has shifted from importing products to manufacturing chairs and workstations locally to meet global performance and design standards. Over the past two decades, Bengaluru has become one of the company’s most prominent growth drivers, recording its highest deployment of seating and workstation units nationwide. This demand has been largely propelled by the city’s dense concentration of Global Capability Centres (GCCs), technology enterprises, and multinational corporations.

The incoming Experience Centre aims to provide an interactive space where architects, interior designers, corporate clients, and commercial partners can examine workplace configurations and co-create high-performance office environments. The expansion reflects broader industry trends, as organisations increasingly prioritize employee well-being, spatial flexibility, and modern office ergonomics when making strategic real estate decisions.

“Manufacturing products in India is only one part of the equation. Customers today expect those products to deliver the same performance, reliability and design standards they would expect anywhere in the world. We see that expectation continuing to grow, particularly in innovation-led markets like Bengaluru where workplace decisions are increasingly shaped by employee experience and long-term value. As organisations rethink how their offices support collaboration, flexibility and productivity, they are looking for partners who can deliver not just quality products, but complete workplace solutions aligned with today’s workplace demands,” said Manish Khandelwal, Managing Director, Haworth India.

Building on nearly three decades of operations in the country, the expansion underscores Haworth India’s strategy to deepen its long-term investments in domestic manufacturing, local design partnerships, and corporate workplace development in one of the country’s primary technology and innovation hubs.
