hBits Appoints Zahid Gawandi as Director, Brand & Marketing

Mumbai, January 16, 2025: Commercial real estate investment platform hBits has appointed Zahid Gawandi as its Director – Brand & Marketing. With over two decades of experience in crafting and executing innovative marketing strategies, Zahid is set to lead hBits’ brand transformation and market expansion, bolstered by the company’s recent ₹40-crore fundraise.

Zahid brings expertise from his leadership roles across Fintech, BFSI, FMCG, Consumer Durables, and Automobiles sectors. Having worked with global advertising powerhouses Dentsu and Hakuhodo, he has a deep understanding of international marketing practices. Most recently, as Vice President and Head of Marketing & Corporate Communications at SBI Securities Ltd, Zahid led a comprehensive rebranding initiative. His portfolio includes launching and scaling iconic brands such as Reliance Money and executing growth-focused strategies for GMoney, Spice Group, and Destimoney Group.
Zahid is a sought-after speaker and guest faculty at leading business schools. He is also a respected jury member for prestigious marketing awards. An avid marathoner and fitness enthusiast, Zahid participates in international marathons.
