Mumbai, June 21, 2026: Leading real estate developer House of Hiranandani, in partnership with The Ballard Pier, has officially announced the launch of “PierPop,” a month-long waterfront festival at Ballard Estate in South Mumbai. Designed to run throughout the monsoon season as a recurring weekend destination rather than a single-day event, the festival brings together sports, food, culture, retail, and live programming. Organisers expect weekly footfall to surpass 7,500 visitors during the event, which opens on June 21 and runs through July 23, 2026.

PierPop features four distinct anchor experiences located across the pier. These include NautiPickle, India’s first indoor air-conditioned pickleball arena featuring eight courts; NautiTrax, an indoor go-karting track spanning 295 metres; Nauti Baro Market, a curated lifestyle and retail market showcasing brands from over 25 cities; and Pier Pantry, a food market curated by The Nommers that celebrates local produce and artisanal finds.

Beyond its primary attractions, the festival offers an expansive lineup of community programming. Visitors can access the Nautiverse children’s activity zone, “Cinema by the Sea” screenings on select evenings, and Nauti-Wheels RC motorsport activations. Additional features include Hyrox Training sessions, a “Kids at Work” construction playground, The Reading Nook, and creative workshops hosted by Art for Akanksha. Wellness and beauty experiences, along with a Seaside Park, will also remain open to the public throughout the festival’s duration.

For House of Hiranandani, the initiative represents an extension of its long-held philosophy regarding urban development and community spaces.

“Great cities are defined as much by their public spaces as by their skylines. At House of Hiranandani, we have always believed that when you design for connection, community follows. PierPop is that belief in practice. For one month, Ballard Pier belongs to Mumbai — to families, to sport, to food, to culture, and to everyone who has ever looked at this waterfront and wished they could be closer to it.” — Prashin Jhobalia, Chief Marketing Officer, House of Hiranandani

The partnership aims to breathe new life into the historic South Mumbai precinct by offering residents a novel way to engage with the city’s coastline, even during the rainy season.

“The waterfront has always been part of Mumbai’s story. With PierPop, we’re reimagining it as a place to return to throughout the monsoon. Curated with experiences for all ages and interests, it offers a fresh way to spend time in the city—transforming rainy weekends into moments of discovery, connection and shared memories. We’re inviting people to rediscover the harbour and make it their own again.” — Kanchan Rizvi, President & Terminal Head, The Ballard Pier Downtown Experience Centre
