India International Waterproofers Conference & Expo 2026 To Launch “Festival of Waterproofing” in New Delhi This Thursday

New Delhi, August 3, 2026: The Waterproofers Association of India (WAI) is set to host the second edition of the India International Waterproofers Conference & Expo 2026 from August 6 to 7 at the Hotel Pullman, Aerocity, New Delhi. Centered around the theme “Festival of Waterproofing,” the two-day event aims to emphasize the essential role of building protection within the global construction sector, running daily from 9:30 AM to 7:00 PM, WAI said in a press release.

The conference will convene more than 550 delegates, including 55 international representatives from China, South Korea, Germany, and the UAE, who will engage with Indian firms to explore joint ventures, technology transfers, and strategic collaborations. Highlighting its global footprint, the event features the China Building Waterproofing Association as its official International Association Partner, alongside real estate body NAREDCO.
A comprehensive technical agenda comprising over 20 expert speakers and five panel discussions will address key structural topics, including advanced injection systems, climate-responsive designs, basement waterproofing, green roof protection, and risk evaluation frameworks. Additionally, the sessions will examine the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and business automation on the sector, demonstrating how digital tools can enhance operational efficiency, predictive maintenance, and contract management.
Alongside the technical presentations, an exhibition featuring 53 specialized booths will host live product demonstrations from major industry players, including Thermax Chemicals, Pidilite Industries Ltd, Nerolac Perma, Amchem Products, Somani, Ecmas, Ascolite, Delta Dubai, La Greens, Bronco, Ardex Endura, and Grako. Key industry figures, such as IPUA Executive Member Praveen Mahajan and Pidilite’s Mehul Parikh, are scheduled to participate in the proceedings.
Underscoring the significance of the gathering, Sandeep Chaudhry, President of WAI and Founder of SNP Technologies Pvt Ltd and DryShield Waterproofing, highlighted the organization’s overarching mission for the trade. “Our goal is to provide a unified voice and dignified platform for the waterproofing industry,” Chaudhry said. “This conference marks another step forward for a sector that is vital yet often overlooked in construction.”
Entry to the exhibition floor will be free of charge for engineers, architects, contractors, developers, and public-sector asset owners, with industry professionals encouraged to register in advance to gain access.
