Infinity Group’s Krishna Bhumi Arcade Anchors Panchvati Green Belt in Vrindavan’s Emerging Faith Corridor

New Delhi, November 27, 2025: Krishna Bhumi Arcade, India’s first religious and cultural product mall by Infinity Group, has launched a landmark ecological restoration project on a 140-acre site in Vrindavan. In partnership with the Uttar Pradesh Forest, Environment & Climate Change Department and the Braj Teerth Vikas Parishad (BTVP), the initiative plants 108 Panchvati clusters (540 sacred trees), along the Yamuna riverbank, a critical ecological zone between Parikrama Marg and the river.
This project represents one of the Braj region’s largest spiritual-ecological restoration efforts and coincides with Vrindavan’s rise as a global spiritual and real estate hotspot, fueled by the upcoming Jewar Airport and significant infrastructure investments exceeding INR 30,000 crore.
Situated in Vrindavan’s most spiritually dense and environmentally sensitive corridor, the initiative reflects Infinity Group’s philosophy of seva parmo dharma (service is the highest duty). It aims to harmonize rapid urban growth with ecological stewardship, enhancing the pilgrim experience while future-proofing the region’s liveability.
The 140-acre greenbelt’s design includes fruit-bearing trees to support Shree Krishna Gaushala, flowering plants to supply the daily offerings of temples and ashrams, and native species to stabilize riverbanks, improve soil health, cool microclimates, restore biodiversity, and absorb pollution, creating a self-sustaining ecological economy for Vrindavan.
The Panchvati Mahotsav 2025 was inaugurated by Uttar Pradesh Minister (Independent Charge), Forest, Environment, Forest Protection & Climate Change Arun Kumar Saxena, and Grammy Award winner and Padma Bhushan awardee Pandit Vishwa Mohan Bhatt (creator of the Mohan Veena) and Tantri Samrat Pandit Salil Bhatt (creator of the Satvik Veena) along with renowned Pandit Ajay Prasanna, three-time Grammy Award nominee.
The ceremony was held in the presence of 108 revered mahants, who led the planting of Panchvati clusters composed of five sacred species-Peepal, Banyan, Gular, Desi Aam, and Paakad, selected for both environmental and cultural significance. Community participation was further underscored by Tulsi sapling plantation initiatives.
Dr. Saxena, MoS, said, “Global warming and rising temperatures demand immediate action, and reducing carbon dioxide begins with planting and protecting trees. Our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s message, ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’, captures this beautifully, and today’s plantation drive by revered saints strengthens that national mission. Under Yogi Adityanath ji’s leadership, Uttar Pradesh has planted over 242 crore trees in the last eight years, making it the state No. 1 in India. This success belongs to the people including citizens of all age groups, NGOs, and now saints, whose collective effort is transforming our environment. By the time Kumbh 2031 arrives, lakhs of pilgrims will be able to enjoy the cool shade of these trees and breathe cleaner air. The preparation for that future begins today.”

Infinity Group CMD Ravindra Chamaria described Braj as both a spiritual and ecological heritage landscape with millennia-old cultural memory. While addressing the audience, he said, “Braj is not merely a region of spiritual significance, it is an ecological heritage that carries thousands of years of cultural memory. As Vrindavan Dham evolves into a global spiritual destination with unprecedented footfall and connectivity, the responsibility to protect its natural character becomes even greater.
“At Infinity Group, we believe that development must always honour landscape, legacy, and divinity. This 140-acre green restoration is our way of safeguarding Vrindavan’s future by reviving the Vrindavan our scriptures speak of.”
Speaking on the occasion, Krishna Bhumi Arcade CMO Ravee Shankar said, “Vrindavan is entering a decisive phase of growth. With INR 30,000+ crore worth of cultural and infrastructural development reshaping the Braj corridor and the upcoming Jewar Airport enhancing global connectivity, the sacred city is rapidly emerging as one of the world’s most significant spiritual destinations. With annual pilgrimage expected to rise from 2.45 crore to nearly 6 crore over the next five years, such a scale demands sustainable ecological buffers that protect the environment, support the local community, enrich the pilgrim experience, and preserve the spiritual sanctity of Vrindavan.”
