JSW Infrastructure Posts 17 Percent Rise in Q2 Revenue to Rs 1,481 Crore

Mumbai, October 28, 2026: JSW Infrastructure Limited announced its financial results for the second quarter ended September 30, 2026, reporting a 17 percent year-on-year increase in consolidated revenue from operations to Rs 1,481 crore compared to Rs 1,266 crore in Q2 FY2026, according to a press release issued by the company.
Operating EBITDA for the quarter rose 11 percent year-on-year to Rs 674 crore, up from Rs 610 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Profit after tax (PAT) stood at Rs 328 crore compared to Rs 369 crore in Q2 FY2026, primarily impacted by unrealized foreign exchange losses resulting from rupee depreciation as well as higher depreciation charges from newly commissioned port projects and logistics scaling. Profit before tax (PBT) reached Rs 431 crore against Rs 463 crore in the prior-year period.
Cargo volumes across Indian operations grew 8 percent year-on-year, bringing total cargo volumes for the quarter to 29.4 million tonnes. Throughput growth was driven by improved capacity utilization at the Paradip Coal, Ennore Bulk, and Mangalore Coal terminals, alongside interim operations at the Tuticorin Bulk Terminal and Kolkata Container Terminal. However, overall growth was partially offset by a challenging operating environment at the Fujairah Liquid Terminal and lower volumes at Jaigarh Port and the Paradip Iron Ore Terminal.
For the ports segment, operational revenue grew 9 percent year-on-year to Rs 1,202 crore, while operating EBITDA reached Rs 594 crore, up 2 percent. The company’s logistics business recorded operational revenue of Rs 279 crore, up from Rs 163 crore in Q2 FY2026, while its operating EBITDA surged 3.3 times to Rs 81 crore, expanding EBITDA margin to 28.9 percent due to increased rail logistics contributions.
During the quarter, JSW Infrastructure Limited executed a 30-year concession agreement for the 13 MTPA Kolkata Outer Container Terminal, commenced interim operations at the 6.3 MTPA Kolkata Container Terminal, and completed the acquisition of NCR Rail Infrastructure Limited under an NCLT-approved plan. The company also secured a Letter of Acceptance for a Gati Shakti Multi-Modal Cargo Terminal at Kulipalaiyam, Tamil Nadu, expanding its logistics footprint to eight facilities across five states, and expanded its rail rake fleet from 42 to 78 rakes with a target of 110 rakes by March 2027.
