Miraj Cinemas Expands in Hyderabad with 4-Screen Multiplex at Anand Mall & Movies, Narsingi

Hyderabad, September 26, 2025: India’s third largest multiplex chain Miraj Cinemas has launched a plush new four-screen multiplex, Miraj Cinemas – Anand Mall & Movies, Narsingi in Hyderabad. This latest addition marks Miraj’s sixth property in the city, taking the total number of screens in Hyderabad to 22 and boosting its national screen count to an impressive 248 across India.

The launch was celebrated with a special screening of the highly anticipated Pawan Kalyan starrer They Call Me OG, creating a cinematic moment befitting the grandeur of the new venue. The event was graced by many notable guests, including Dr J. Rameswararao, Chairman of My Home Group, veteran producer and distributor Dil Raju, Managing Director of Raghuram Group Anand Rao, and acclaimed actor-director-producer R. Narayanamoorthi.

Bhuvanesh Mendiratta, Managing Director, Miraj Entertainment Ltd., said, “Hyderabad holds a special place in our journey. It’s a city with a rich cinematic culture, discerning audiences, and a constant appetite for experiences that go beyond the ordinary. With this new Miraj Cinemas – Anand Mall & Movies, Narsingi, Hyderabad, we aimed to push every boundary—design, comfort, technology, and service—to create not just another theatre, but a destination. Every touchpoint, from the lighting in the corridors to the handpicked furniture in the lounge, has been designed with care. We’ve introduced diverse seating formats and gourmet F&B options because we believe cinema is not just about watching a movie, it’s about how you feel from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. With six properties now operational in Hyderabad and more on the horizon, we are fully committed to serving this city with the best we have to offer. Our goal is simple: when people think of cinema, they should think of Miraj.”

With a total seating capacity of 801, each auditorium is designed to offer a refined and immersive movie-watching experience. Audi 1 houses 168 seats, offering a balanced mix of standard and sofa-style seating with generous legroom. Audi 2 mirrors this setup with another 168 seats, perfect for high-footfall blockbuster shows. Audi 3 is slightly larger with 232 seats, while Audi 4 leads with 233 seats. All auditoriums are equipped with next-generation digital projection, immersive surround sound, and carefully designed ambient lighting that shifts with the mood of the film, drawing viewers deeper into the story unfolding on screen.

Beyond the technical brilliance, it’s the overall ambience that truly sets this property apart. From the moment guests step into the lobby, they’re met with an atmosphere that radiates modern luxury and warmth. The space features polished marble flooring, bold black-and-white geometric patterns, and a ceiling washed in soft, golden lighting that elevates the tone from functional to cinematic. The lounge seating is thoughtfully curated, featuring a mix of plush velvet chairs, beige sofas, and sleek designer tables that invite guests to relax, converse, or simply soak in the aesthetic.

Visually, the space features a rhythm of curves and contrasts, with arching ceilings, contemporary chandeliers, deep-toned feature walls, and elegant textures that seamlessly merge comfort with style. Even the transitions between lobbies and auditoriums are crafted with visual flair, featuring illuminated signage, rich textures, and subtle directional cues that enhance the immersive experience.

A key highlight of this new multiplex is its food and beverage offering. Staying true to its promise of delivering more than just movies, Miraj Cinemas brings in three distinct culinary counters. Chef Corner is a curated live kitchen serving freshly prepared multi-cuisine delights—from Indian to fusion street food. Pop Corner delivers timeless theatre snacks like butter-loaded popcorn, nachos, and fizzy sodas. The Beanary café offers an artisanal café experience, featuring signature brews and a variety of ready-to-drink selections. All items are crafted fresh in-house by a team of trained chefs, ensuring both quality and consistency.
