MOS UD REVIEWS NBCC PERFORMANCE
Shri Rao Inderjit Singh, Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Urban Development, Housing & Poverty Alleviation, visited NBCC Corporate Office in New Delhi on Aug 30, 2016 and reviewed the performance of the state-owned Navratna Enterprise. The Hon’ble Minister recently took charge of the Ministry as Minister of State. The Team NBCC led by Dr. Anoop Kumar Mittal, CMD, made a detailed presentation before Hon’ble Minister on the activities and performance of the Company, on various performance parameters. Dr. Mittal also appraised the Minister about NBCC’s excellent performance with a growth rate of almost 21%. During the post- presentation discussion, Dr. Mittal informed the Minister that NBCC had a very healthy outstanding order book of over Rs 70,000 crore and that the company, as assigned by the Ministry, had been primarily focusing on Govt.’s property redevelopment works such as the ones of East Kidwai Nagar Smart Sub-city, Nauroji Nagar, Sarojini Nagar, Netaji nagar, AIIMS etc. in Delhi. He also appraised the Minister about Company’s other Pan-India initiatives like taking over of HSCL, New Technology Adoption, Project Exports, Housing & Smart City Development, Real Estate etc.
