The World Environment Day is celebrated to take ownership of the environment and actively engage in the protection of our planet Earth.
On this occasion, NBCC also put on display the model of under construction environment-friendly World Trade Centre at Nauroji Nagar New Delhi, foundation stone for which was laid only last month by Hon’ble Vice President Shri Venkiah Naidu.
This apart, NBCC also set up its own stall at the exhibition centre to showcase its technology and construction prowess with a clear message that the company says “no” to use of plastics at all its workplaces and construction sites.
The occasion was organised by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change jointly with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI).
