NBCC signs MoU to Construct Varanasi NIFT

New Delhi, Jan 12, 2023: NBCC signed MoU with National Institute of Fashion Technology for planning, designing, execution and construction of NIFT campus at Varanasi. The work shall also include the modification of existing buildings of Trade Facilitation Centre (Pt Deendayal Hasthkala Sankul) as a part of the campus. The NIFT campus is to be built at an approximate cost of Rs 218 crore and is expected to come up near the Stadium road close to Varanasi ring road. The campus will spread across 7.5 acres of land. It is expected that this construction shall aid is generation of local employment in the tune of approximately 4.5 lakh mandays, mentions a press release issued by the company. 

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Pradeep Sharma (CGM), NBCC, Gaurav Mishra, Joint Director, NIFT in the presence of other senior officers from both the organisations.
