NHRF President Nikhil Singhal Meets Amethi MP Kishori Lal Sharma to Push for Pending Noida Registries
New Delhi, September 5, 2026: Continuing the citizen campaign to resolve long-pending property registries in Noida, Noida HighRise Federation (NHRF) President Nikhil Singhal met Amethi MP Kishori Lal Sharma to discuss the concerns of thousands of affected homebuyers, NHRF said in a press release.
During the meeting, Singhal handed over a detailed letter highlighting the issue and requested Kishori Lal Sharma to raise the matter in the Lok Sabha. Singhal also urged the parliamentarian to bring the situation to the attention of Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi to give wider national visibility to the homebuyer crisis. Kishori Lal Sharma assured that he would discuss the matter with Rahul Gandhi and explore appropriate avenues to raise the concerns at the national level.
The delegation announced that the campaign will now transition into its next phase by engaging directly with senior decision-makers at both state and central government levels. As part of this effort, representatives will meet Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to present consolidated data on pending registries and seek his direct intervention for a time-bound solution.
Additionally, the federation plans to hold discussions with Uttar Pradesh Urban Development Minister Arvind Kumar Sharma and Union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs Manohar Lal Khattar. The initiative aims to elevate the registry dispute from local administrative bodies to higher state and central government platforms.
Emphasising the non-partisan nature of the movement, Singhal said, “Our campaign is not against any political party. Our sole objective is to secure the property rights of thousands of families who have been waiting for their registries for years. We will continue to take this issue to every appropriate democratic and constitutional platform until a practical and time-bound solution is found.”
He added that the issue directly impacts property rights, financial security, and buyer confidence in the regional real estate ecosystem. Under this initiative, the organization is uniting apartment associations and residents across various housing societies to compile comprehensive data on pending registrations to highlight the actual scale of the problem before authorities.
