Nuvoco Vistas Secures ESG Rating of 67.1 for FY26 from SES ESG Research Private Limited

Mumbai, September 9, 2026: Nuvoco Vistas Corp. Ltd. has received an Environmental, Social, and Governance rating of 67.1 for FY26 from SEBI-registered Category II provider SES ESG Research Private Limited. Updated on August 31, 2026, the assessment uses a double-materiality framework to evaluate Nuvoco Vistas’ environmental, social, and governance performance for FY2025–26, the company said in a press release. 

During FY26, the company achieved 2.04 times water positivity, maintained zero liquid discharge across all sites, and recycled 97.83% of total waste. Water consumption intensity improved to 104.7 liters per tonne of cementitious material, down from 113 liters in FY25. The firm achieved an Alternative Fuels and Raw Materials ratio of 10% and co-processed approximately 3.5 lakh tonnes of industrial waste while expanding its electric loader fleet.

Highlighting the company’s circularity strategy, Uma Suryam, Head – Manufacturing (North), Nuvoco Vistas Corp. Ltd., said, “Circularity and increasing the use of alternative fuels remain important elements of our manufacturing and decarbonisation strategy. During FY26, we achieved an AFR ratio of around 10% while significantly advancing industrial waste co-processing. We are now working towards increasing AFR utilisation to nearly 13% in FY27 through stronger sourcing, process optimisation and digital interventions. Our focus is to progressively reduce dependence on conventional fuels while improving resource efficiency across our operations.”

Regarding water conservation performance, Raju Ramchandran, Head – Manufacturing (East), Safety & Sustainability, Nuvoco Vistas Corp. Ltd., noted, “Water stewardship requires us to look at both efficiency within our operations and the larger water ecosystem around our plants. During FY26, Nuvoco achieved 2.04 times water positivity and maintained zero liquid discharge across all sites, while continuing to improve water-use efficiency. We will continue to strengthen conservation, recycling, reuse and recharge initiatives across our operations and surrounding communities.”

Sustainability metrics also progressed in the Ready-Mix Concrete division, where alternative raw material usage exceeded 1.2 lakh tonnes, and recycled water consumption rose by 73%. Afforestation efforts added approximately 1.2 lakh saplings across project locations. On social and governance fronts, permanent employee turnover decreased to 14.5% with zero fatalities recorded, while the board maintained full compliance and 100% committee meeting attendance.
