Prayag looks to dominate sports events sponsorship space with its unique strategy

Prayag has outlaid 40% of its total marketing revenue for spending on sports events sponsorships with an intention to support different sports
New Delhi, 6 October 2017: In line with its commitment of contributing significantly towards making sports events exceptionally successful, Prayag, India’s leading bath assets and sanitary ware brand is all set to dominate major sports events sponsorship space in the country. Prayag has outlaid 40% of its total marketing revenue for spending on sports sponsorships with an intention to support different sports and the sportspersons including the players associated with them.
With its ongoing efforts in this direction, Prayag is also intended to promote young India through such events by providing opportunities to the young and deserving players to showcase their talents. Recently the company has announced its association with the much enthralling India Vs Sri Lanka ODI and T20 Series being held in Sri Lanka.
“Apart from contributing significantly in the development of sports by creating an encouraging environment for the players to excel in their skills, sponsoring major sporting events also help us in reaching to millions of young buyers who later grow with the brand,” said Mr. Nitin Aggarwal, CEO, Prayag.
He added, “These events also help us penetrate deeply in the regions which have not been yet explored much by us. Moreover, in those markets where we already have our strong presence, we further get benefitted by the growing popularity of various sports among the youth.” Meanwhile, extending his best wishes at the occasion of National Sports Day, Mr. Aggarwal said, “I congratulate the entire sports fraternity and wish them all the best for their promising career. At this occasion, I wish to encourage all the players to devote their 100% to the particular sports which they are playing for their country.”
Continuing with its passion to sponsor various sporting events in the last couple of years, Prayag has been associated with Asia Cup as associates sponsors, IPL as official team partners of Kings XI Punjab, Title sponsors for Prayag Cup 2nd year in a Row (India –Zimbabwe), Atlético de Kolkata and Delhi Dynamos for ISL, Delhi Wave riders for IHL, U Mumba and Patna Pirates for Pro Kabbadi league, and lots more. In the last seven years, Prayag has sponsored major sporting events and now in the last four years it has been also associating with sporting event series getting popular at regional levels in India like Kabaddi, Football as well as Hockey. Prayag is also looking forward to associate with the upcoming cricket series in India, T-20 series as well as the Futsal event in the country.
