Project Registration Touches New High in UP RERA, 208 in First 8 Months
Lucknow/Gautam Buddh Nagar, August 30, 2025: The Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UP RERA) has reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding the interests of homebuyers and ensuring transparency in the real estate sector, registering 208 projects between January and August.
With this achievement, UP RERA is on track to surpass previous milestones in project registrations, building upon the remarkable growth momentum of 2024, when 259 projects were registered—the highest number since RERA’s inception.
With four months remaining and Navratri and Deepawali arriving, the number of registrations is all set to make a new record, which augurs well for the state’s real estate sector.
Between January and August, UP RERA registered 208 projects—18 in January, 9 in February, 30 in March, 27 in April, 18 in May, 32 in June, 10 in July and 60 in August. An all-time high registration of 60 projects in just one month is a strong sign of the real estate sector gaining momentum and RERA facilitating a smooth registration of projects.
