Puranik Group Unveils Kyoto Life in Thane

Mumbai, August 25, 2025: In a significant stride toward redefining urban living, Puranik Group has launched Kyoto Life at Puraniks Mirai, on Ghodbunder Road—a novel residential concept that draws inspiration from the mindful and harmonious living traditions of Kyoto, Japan.

In a city grappling with fast-paced growth, the project stands out for its emphasis on well-being through design. “Kyoto Life is far removed from the typical real estate model,” said Shailesh Puranik, CMD, Puranik Group.
“It represents a cultural replenishment—spaces designed to breathe, encourage mindful stillness and nurture community. With Thane’s trajectory as a metropolitan growth engine, this is where global philosophy meets local necessity.”
The timing is telling. Thane’s real estate market has surged 46 per cent in the past three years with average residential rates climbing to INR 19,800 per sq ft by June 2025, up from INR 13,550 in late 2022. Ghodbunder Road, where the project is located, has mirrored this growth with property rates rising 11.9 per cent over the past year and values up nearly 15–20 per cent0 over the last five years.
The corridor’s strategic importance is only growing. Ghodbunder Road serves as a vital 20 km east-west connector between the Eastern and Western Express Highways. It supports over 100,000 vehicles daily, and recent infrastructure upgrades—including new metro lines—promise to further elevate its appeal.
The completion of U-girder installation at Kapurbawdi metro station, a key interchange on the upcoming Mumbai Metro Line 4, marks a milestone. Trial runs on this stretch are expected before the end of 2025 with commercial operations slated soon after.
Against this backdrop, Kyoto Life adds cultural resonance to urban expansion. Blending landscaped Zen gardens, water features, minimalistic architecture and wellness-designed communal spaces, it positions itself as a “sanctuary above the bustle”, aligning urban convenience with mindful living.
“This is not just a new address—it is a statement,” added Puranik. “Thane has matured into a destination; now it deserves living experiences that reflect that maturity.”
