Short service card for Delhi Metro’s Airport Express riders
NEW DELHI: Delhi Metro has introduced a short service card called 10-trip travel card for its those Airport Express line riders who are not regular commuters. The card will help commuters travel limited rides of up to 10 trips on the Airport Express line.
DMRC is already having 30 trips and 45 trips travel card on the Express line, for the regular commuters of Airport Express. Both these trip cards come with a validity of 30 days.
Delhi Metro is taking many measures in the recent times to popularize the Airport Express line. For Air India and Jet Airways bound passengers, check-in facility was introduced recently at both New Delhi and Shivaji Stadium metro station. Ticket counters were also opened by Air India at these two stations. For the peak hours, 8 am to 8 pm the frequency of the trains on this line was also increased to 10 minutes.
