Smartworks Expands Multi-City Partnership with Forbes 2000 CX Leader; Total Seat Count Exceeds 5,000
GURUGRAM, April 6, 2026: Smartworks Coworking Spaces Limited has announced a significant expansion of its multi-city engagement with a Forbes 2000 global leader in digital business services and customer experience (CX) management. According to a press release, the expansion includes the addition of 1,150 seats at the Smartworks managed campus within Tata Intellion Park, Navi Mumbai. With this latest deployment, the client’s total portfolio now spans four major cities – Bengaluru, Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Mumbai – bringing their overall capacity to more than 5,000 seats.
The financial scale of the partnership has grown alongside the physical footprint, with the combined expected rental revenue from these locations estimated to exceed INR 155 crore. This figure includes Rs 51 crore attributed specifically to the newly signed Navi Mumbai managed office deal. The agreement highlights a growing trend among large-scale enterprises to favor campus-style, multi-city workspace partnerships that offer operational consistency across different geographic regions.

Neetish Sarda, Founder and Managing Director of Smartworks, emphasized the importance of providing a seamless scaling solution for international corporations. “As enterprises expand across regions, they increasingly value consistency in experience, speed of execution, and the ability to scale seamlessly within a single ecosystem,” Sarda said. “This continued expansion across four cities reflects the strength of the platform we have built and the long-term relationships we continue to deepen with global clients.”
According to the company, large-format deployments are a primary driver of growth, with clients requiring over 1,000 seats contributing approximately 35% of total revenue. This demand is led largely by enterprise clients and Global Capability Centres (GCCs). Furthermore, multi-city clients accounted for roughly 31% of the company’s overall revenue in the third quarter of fiscal year 2026. As of Q3 FY26, Smartworks reported over INR 4,700 crore in committed rental revenue, underscoring the long-term nature of its enterprise-led business model.
Smartworks operates by leasing large commercial buildings and converting them into fully managed office campuses tailored for enterprise use. By overseeing design, delivery, technology, and daily operations, the platform enables occupiers to scale their physical presence efficiently without the traditional burdens of owning or managing real estate assets.
