SN Gupta Takes Charge as CVO, SAIL
New Delhi, December 13, 2023: SN Gupta, ITS (1992 Batch) has assumed charge of Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) at Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL). Gupta has an experience of about 30 years in various technical and capacity building functions. Having entered the Indian Telecom Service (ITS) in the 1992 batch, he has spent over 23 years specializing in Exchange Installation, Field Operations, Mobile Operations, and Personnel & Training. Gupta served as Director at the Central Vigilance Commission for five years, contributing to enhancement of vigilance mechanisms within the government. Additionally, he has spent two years as the Chief Vigilance Officer at the Sports Authority of India, where he played a key role in ensuring transparency and integrity in sports governance.
