Sumadhura Group Enters Managed Office Spaces, to Lease 1 million sq ft of space in 3 Years

Bengaluru, May 27, 2025: Sumadhura Group, a leading real estate developer, has forayed into the managed office spaces (MOS) segment with its premium managed office space offering Workship.
Located within Sumadhura’s prestigious commercial space- Capitol Towers in Whitefield, Bengaluru, Workship spans over 1.22 lakh square feet of space and comprises more than 3,000 seats just within six months of its inception.
Amid rising demand for flexible workspaces across sectors including IT & ITeS, GCCs, pharma, agri-tech, BFSI and manufacturing, the group aims to lease above 1 mn sq ft of managed office space and more than 10,000 seats over the next three years, positioning itself as one of the key players in the evolving workspace landscape.
Workship made an impressive entry by fully leasing its initial offering of over 50,000 square feet of space, which included over 1,500 seats, all within a mere three months from the launch.
The first phase of this launch was met with great enthusiasm, attracting prominent clients from sectors such as IT & ITES, pharma and agri-tech.
This rapid growth underscores Workship’s significant impact and appeal in the market, reflecting its strong debut and promising future in the managed office space market.
Further, the high demand spurred the company to expand Workship, adding 1,500 more seats in the same commercial development by August 2025.

Madhusudhan G, CMD, Sumadhura Group, said, “India is witnessing a significant shift in how workspaces are perceived and utilised with a growing demand for high-quality, flexible and premium managed office spaces.”
Bengaluru and Hyderabad are “leading this transformation, and we are thrilled with the overwhelming response to Workship in this market”.
He added, “The strong interest from sectors such as IT/ITeS, agri-tech and pharma reaffirms our belief that premium managed spaces—backed by real estate credibility and end-to-end operational control—represent the future of work in India. Our goal of reaching one million square feet of managed office space over the next three years reflects our confidence in this growth trajectory. We plan to expand Workship in Hyderabad by 2027, recognising its growing prominence as a key GCC hub and a high-potential premium office space market.”
Workship is a modern, premium managed office space distinctively designed to foster community, well-being and productivity. This state-of-the-art workspace seamlessly blends creativity with contemporary art and design, offering an inspiring and thoughtfully curated environment.
Workship reflects Sumadhura Group’s core values of growth, transformation, and excellence with its interiors featuring hand-painted art, each symbolising a story of resilience and balance. The space offers a premium range of amenities, including an arrival lounge, collaborative zones, private offices, one-of-its-kind podcast studio and wellness areas.
Occupiers also benefit from 24/7 access and can manage daily operations through a dedicated mobile app. Workship blends design, technology and sustainability to create a dynamic and inclusive work environment.
