Supertech awards construction of Hues project to Arabian firm ACC

Real estate developer Supertech Limited has signed a Rs 500-crore contract with the Arabian Construction Company (ACC), a renowned international contractor from Abu Dhabi for the construction of the first phase of its Hues project.
The Supertech Hues is part of a 70-acre group housing residential development project located in Sector 68, Gurgaon.
According to a press release, Supertech has awarded the contract to ACC for carrying out construction work with a special technology, known as ‘Tunnel Form Technology’. The release said Hues will be the first project in the country to be constructed with Tunnel Form Technology, which is environment-friendly and delivers good quality construction. The technology is being brought for Hues in order to complete the project in 30 months.
The technology also reduces dependence on large labour requirement. All the towers in the project will be earthquake-resistant RCC structures and all safety measures will be used in the construction of the project. Architectural and structural designs for the towers have been customised to suit the Tunnel Form Shuttering system.
RK Arora, Chairman, Supertech Limited, said, “To ensure possession on time, we required technology-driven development and experienced contractor who can execute work as per commitment of delivery we have given to our buyers. So, we again signed a contract with ACC to construct our Hues project. Our association with ACC has been really long as ACC is already constructing our project Supernova in Noida. We already have trust in ACC and the kind of technologies the company uses.”
Ani Ray, MD, ACC, said, “We are thankful to Supertech for trusting us and again giving us an opportunity to construct another project, Hues, in Gurgaon.”
