Texmaco Rail Bags Orders Worth Over ₹78 Cr from Maha-Metro & Central Railway

New Delhi, October 30, 2025: Texmaco Rail & Engineering Limited has secured two major infrastructure contracts worth over INR 78 crore from Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited (Maha-Metro) and Central Railway, reinforcing its pivotal role in advancing India’s Aatma Nirbhar Bharat and Make in India missions.
The INR 44.61-crore Maha-Metro contract covers the design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of critical systems for the PCMC–Nigdi Elevated Extension of the Pune Metro. This includes a 25kV Flexible Overhead Catenary System, 25kV Sectioning Posts, a 33kV Auxiliary Sub-Station, and SCADA systems. Scheduled for completion in 110 weeks, the project is a key component of Pune’s expanding urban transit infrastructure.
Simultaneously, Texmaco has been awarded a INR 33.89 crore contract by Central Railway for the Ahmadnagar–Beed–Parli New BG Line. The scope includes the design, manufacture, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of a 132kV/55kV Scott Connected Transformer system, with a 12-month execution timeline. This project strengthens Texmaco’s presence in railway electrification and power systems, supporting India’s push for efficient, electrified rail corridors.

As India accelerates its rail electrification to reduce fossil fuel dependency and improve operational efficiency, Texmaco is poised to be a key player.
