New Delhi, October 23, 2026: The LaLiT Suri Hospitality Group has announced a Rs 600 crore expansion strategy over the next five years, aimed at increasing its existing inventory of 2,300 keys by approximately 50 percent with the addition of 1,000 new keys, according to an official press release.

The strategy combines owned property developments and management contracts, with about 50 percent of the new capacity coming from owned assets and the remainder through an asset-light management model. The company, which currently operates 14 hotels across India, plans to fund the capital investment through internal accruals and savings, supported by recent reductions in interest costs.

Under the owned expansion pipeline, the group is developing The LaLiT Ahmedabad, a 240-key luxury hotel scheduled to open ahead of the 2030 Commonwealth Games, alongside a 50-key project in Chitrakoot. The group also plans to expand existing properties, adding 100 keys in Bekal, 50 keys in Goa, and 55 keys in Udaipur. Concurrently, the group is targeting nearly 20 management contracts, launching its first asset-light property in Vrindavan with 75 keys and exploring further opportunities in cities including Chennai, Hyderabad, Leh, Varanasi, Ayodhya, Lakshadweep, Siliguri, and the Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

Jyotsna Suri, Chairperson and Managing Director, The LaLiT Suri Hospitality Group, said, “Over the next decade, we plan to invest ₹600 crore in properties where we own the land, while using management contracts to expand where our partners bring the capital. We look forward to exploring opportunities to expand our portfolio through several management contracts. But expansion cannot come at the cost of identity. Whether we own the property or manage it, every LaLiT hotel must carry the same spirit and character, with standards that define us.”
