Mumbai, June 26, 2026: Real estate developer TransIndia Group has officially announced the launch of TransIndia Meridian, a new residential development situated in Mumbai’s prominent Sion-Matunga Corridor. The project is conceived as an integrated residential destination designed to blend contemporary architecture and modern luxury with the rich cultural heritage and urban connectivity of the surrounding Central Mumbai neighbourhood. Spread across 3.2 acres, the development comes at a time when the corridor is experiencing consistent real estate price appreciation driven by its central location, established social infrastructure, and ongoing connectivity upgrades, TransIndia Group said in a press release.

The development will comprise six towers featuring spacious two and three-BHK residences that offer expansive views of the city and bay, along with multi-level parking, premium retail frontage, and Vastu-aligned layouts. At the heart of the project is a curated lifestyle ecosystem featuring landscaped podium greens and over 50 individual lifestyle amenities. The property includes a grand clubhouse equipped with a fitness plaza, gymnasium, multipurpose hall, banquet facilities, indoor games room, mini theatre, virtual reality room, salon, and spa. Additionally, the podium level features a Zen garden, cricket turf, movie lounge, barbeque area, and trampoline garden, while the sky-level amenities include a yoga lawn, swimming pool, crossfit gym, and a star-gazing deck.

Strategically positioned within Central Mumbai, the project offers proximity to prominent local landmarks and educational institutions including Five Gardens, Shivaji Park, Don Bosco High School, SIES College, VJTI Institute, and ICT Mumbai. The location benefits from direct access to the Central, Western, and Harbour suburban railway lines, as well as the Eastern and Western Express Highways, the Sion-BKC Flyover, and the Bandra-Worli Sea Link. This extensive network ensures efficient transit to major commercial hubs such as the Bandra Kurla Complex, Lower Parel, Fort, and SEEPZ-MIDC, with further connectivity advantages expected from upcoming metro corridors and nearby airports.

Commenting on the launch, Rajendra M. Rajan, Founder, TransIndia Group, said, “Certain neighbourhoods possess a timeless quality that cannot be recreated. The Sion-Matunga Corridor is one such belt that has a deeply rooted sense of belonging. Meridian has been envisioned as a natural extension of this aspect. Rather than simply building residences, our objective with Meridian has been to create an address that celebrates the spirit of the neighbourhood while introducing a lifestyle that reflects the aspirations of a new generation of homeowners. We believe the finest developments are those that become part of a locality’s story, and this is a project designed keeping that very philosophy in mind.”

Over the past 15 years, TransIndia Group has established a significant footprint in the Mumbai real estate sector, having delivered over 12 lakh square feet of real estate and rehabilitated approximately 2,500 tenements. The company currently has more than 55 lakh square feet under active development and has served over 1,000 families. Company representatives stated that the Meridian project represents the latest expression of their corporate vision to create long-term value and distinctive addresses that align Mumbai’s heritage with the expectations of contemporary urban homebuyers.
