Hyderabad, April 17, 2026: The boutique villa community Trivana, located in South Hyderabad, has been awarded the IGBC Pre-Certified Gold rating. Situated in the Almasguda-Tukkuguda area, the low-density project provides residents with direct access to the Nehru Outer Ring Road and Rajiv Gandhi International Airport.

Trivana Boutique Villa Community Earns IGBC Gold Pre-Certification for Sustainable Development

According to a press release, the development is a joint venture by GHR USM Developers. The partnership combines the 35-year regional legacy of GHR Infra with the technology-driven approach of USM MyCity, a USA-based firm headquartered in Chantilly, Virginia. The project’s design emphasizes natural integration, utilizing east and west-facing orientations and specific layouts to maximize daylight exposure and natural ventilation.

Infrastructure at Trivana has been designed to support daily wellness, featuring a clubhouse, gymnasium, swimming pool, and various sports courts. Beyond these amenities, the project incorporates a rigorous sustainability framework. It is projected to reduce water consumption by 37% through efficient plumbing fixtures, while the site is engineered to harvest 100% of rainwater and treat 100% of generated wastewater through dedicated on-site systems. Approximately 30% of the site area is dedicated to native vegetation.

The community’s energy strategy includes a planned 18.9 kWp renewable energy system intended to power 50% of common area lighting. This is supplemented by 100% LED lighting and building envelope measures designed to reduce heat gain. Indoor air quality is addressed through the use of low-VOC paints and adhesives, natural ventilation, and the exclusion of HCFC-refrigerants and halon-based fire systems.

Material selection played a critical role in achieving the Gold rating, with GreenPro-certified materials accounting for 53% of the total material cost. The project also utilizes recycled-content materials and eco-friendly wood. To manage waste, an organic waste converter with a 100 kg daily capacity will process 100% of the community’s wet waste.

Reflecting on the certification, Karteesh Reddy M, CEO of GHR Infra, noted the importance of integrating responsibility with modern living. “The IGBC Pre-Certified Gold recognition stands as a testament to our project’s thoughtful approach to green living. It highlights Trivana’s alignment with progressive building principles across water conservation, energy efficiency, site planning, sustainable materials, waste management, and occupant well-being. The future of housing is certainly about excelling in design and providing quality living experience — all done with a responsible commitment towards sustainability.”
