New Delhi, February 16, 2026: RERA Chairman, Government of NCT of Delhi, Anand Kumar, IAS (Retd.), last week announced that a ‘Unified RERA Portal’ is being mooted by multiple RERA authorities for home buyers to access real estate projects information in a collective sense.

Speaking in a panel discussion on RERA Reforms in Housing Sector, Kumar added that such a proposal has been submitted to the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs. The proposal is being considered quite favourably to navigate and collect certain information relating to housing projects for concerned stakeholders which also include home buyers and promoters including agents for a win-win situation, he pointed out.

Until the proposal is okayed, the RERA projects should continue to take off under the state laws and stipulations of their construction and real estate sector since the subject of real estate falls under the state list, said the NCT of Delhi RERA Chairman.
