UP RERA Approves 15 Real Estate Projects Worth Over Rs 4,826 Crore Across Eight Districts

Lucknow, July 25, 2026: The Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UP RERA) has approved 15 new real estate projects across eight districts in the state, involving a total estimated investment of Rs 4,826.31 crore. The sanctioned developments will deliver around 5,303 residential and commercial units, aimed at fostering planned urban growth and boosting the state’s real estate sector, UP RERA said in a press release.

The approvals were finalized during the Authority’s 206th meeting at the UP RERA Headquarters, chaired by UP RERA Chairman Sanjay Bhoosreddy alongside senior officials. The approved developments encompass residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects designed to address rising demand for modern housing and commercial space while adhering strictly to RERA Act timelines and compliance standards.

Gautam Buddha Nagar led all districts in investment and total volume, securing three approved projects valued at Rs 3,275.70 crore to develop 2,565 units across residential, commercial, and mixed-use categories. Lucknow followed with four residential projects worth Rs 562.96 crore to build 1,276 units, including flats, villas, and plotted layouts. Ghaziabad saw three project approvals—two residential and one commercial—totaling Rs 557.40 crore to develop 636 units.

Other approved developments include a 236-unit residential project in Varanasi worth Rs 275.84 crore, a 180-unit residential project in Prayagraj valued at Rs 71.51 crore, and a 206-unit residential project in Baghpat with an investment of Rs 38.69 crore. Additionally, Bulandshahr secured one residential project worth Rs 25.58 crore for 174 units, while Aligarh received approval for a residential project worth Rs 18.63 crore to build 30 units.

The total capital infusion of Rs 4,826.31 crore is expected to generate direct and indirect employment opportunities while driving demand across related sectors such as construction materials, engineering services, and logistics. UP RERA emphasized that streamlined approvals combined with continuous monitoring aim to strengthen accountability and safeguard homebuyer interests.

Reiterating the regulatory body’s focus on structured growth, UP RERA Chairman Sanjay Bhoosreddy stated that the Authority is continuously working to build a transparent, effective, and accountable regulatory framework in the real estate sector. “Timely project approvals and effective supervision is creating a better and more trustworthy environment for both promoters and homebuyers,” Bhoosreddy said. “UP RERA will continue to ensure strict compliance with the provisions of the RERA Act, protect the interests of consumers and promote balanced and sustainable growth of the real estate sector in the state.”
