UP RERA extension to registration of projects

The Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UP RERA), at a meeting on July 27, decided to grant extension to the registration of the projects whose registration is ending on or before December 31.
While the projects in the NCR region have been given an extension for nine months, those in the non-NCR region will get six-month extension.
The decision, said a press release, was taken in view of the hindrances caused by the second wave of the pandemic and other accompanying circumstances. The extension, however, is subject to rigorous monitoring of such projects by the Authority and certain conditions outlined by it, added the release.
