World Street by Omaxe Hosts Saina Nehwal, Peter Gade for Racquet Donation Drive

Faridabad, November 25, 2025: World Street by Omaxe, Faridabad, came alive with the energy of young sports enthusiasts as it hosted ace badminton players Saina Nehwal and Peter Gade for a special racquet-donation drive. The initiative, conducted in collaboration with Yonex, aimed at providing essential badminton equipment, racquets, and training kits to children from underprivileged backgrounds who display sporting potential but lack access to quality gear.

Saina Nehwal visited the Yonex showroom at World Street and personally handed over racquets and training kits to young players, encouraging them to pursue the sport with discipline and confidence. The event saw enthusiastic participation from families, coaches, and children who had the opportunity to interact with the champion athlete.

Said Saina: “They have started such a wonderful initiative with the racket donation drive. I feel that for children who cannot afford to play, having these rackets delivered to their homes would be a very big deal for us. I have done so much for the country, and I believe that our children have the strength and capabilities to excel in every sport…”
