Greater Noida, April 6, 2026: In a major boost to residential development near the newly inaugurated Noida International Airport, the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) is set to launch a massive housing scheme this Monday. The project features 973 residential plots located across Sectors 15-C, 18, and 24, strategically positioned to benefit from the region’s rapid infrastructure growth. This rollout follows the official inauguration of the airport on March 28 and has already received the necessary approvals from the UP Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA), a report by The Times of India said.

A significant portion of the allotment has been earmarked for those directly affected by the area’s industrial expansion. Officials confirmed that 17.5% of the available plots are reserved for local farmers whose land was acquired for the development of the Yamuna area and the airport. Additionally, a 5% quota has been established for entrepreneurs who already operate functional industrial units within the Authority’s jurisdiction.

Prospective homeowners will find the plots priced at a rate of Rs 36,260 per square meter. Given the high demand for property in this burgeoning corridor, the Authority has announced that the final allotment will be conducted through a transparent draw process. Successful applicants will be granted the land on a long-term lease basis, spanning 90 years from the date the lease deed is executed.

Registration for the scheme opens this Monday, with the Authority directing all interested applicants to its official website to complete the process. This residential push is seen as a critical step in building a supporting ecosystem for the Noida International Airport, transforming the surrounding sectors into a primary residential hub for the region.
