YEIDA to conduct draw of lots for residential plots on Nov 2

The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) will conduct manual draw of lots for 900 affordable residential plots on November 2. According to a media report, the draw will be held under the supervision of two district judges, a former IAS officer and senior YEIDA official and GautamBudh Nagar district administration officials.
YEIDA has received more than 9,800 applications for the scheme, which was launched in September this year.
The draw will be held at the Community Centre in Greater Noida’s P-3 Sector from 10.30am onwards under heavy police presence. Allotment letters to successful applicants will be handed over within a month.
There are 900 small plots, which will be available for setting up individual homes. These plots are of two sizes 120 meters (600 plots) and 162 meters (300 plots), respectively. The reserve prices for residential plots, which are located in YEIDA’s Sector 22D have been fixed at Rs 14,250 per square meter. This means that a 120 meter plot would come at a cost of Rs 17.10 lakh, while a 162 meter plot would cost about Rs 23 lakh. The FAR has been fixed at 1.8 and 75 per cent ground coverage will be allowed.
